Celebrating Clinical Success : Jean Hodge

Ms. Jean Hodge chose Ivy Hall Nursing following a hospitalization that resulted in a decline in her overall functional mobility. Upon admission, she had difficulty with gait, balance, transfers, and activities of daily living, which impacted her ability to return home.

When Ms. Hodge was admitted she required 5 liters of oxygen. Through consistent respiratory therapy interventions, close monitoring, and gradual weaning, she showed steady improvement in her lung function and oxygen saturation. Over time, she successfully weaned from oxygen to room air.

Ms. Hodge worked hard daily, participating in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Respiratory Therapy. She overcame many obstacles during her stay but through hard work and dedication she achieved her goal of returning home.

Celebrating Clinical Success : Forrest Roden

Forrest Roden came to Ivy Hall after being hospitalized for a medical issue that caused him to be weak and unable to care for himself at home.

Forrest received Physical and Occupational Therapy daily and made progress quickly. He loved to walk in the hallway and visit with staff and residents. He was able to complete his rehab and return home with family at discharge. Forrest stated, " I really enjoyed being at Ivy Hall, but I am ready to go home."
