Building Bridges For The Mind is a provider of the Davis® Method Autism Approach and Concepts for Life programs working with children and teens developing & strengthening their executive function and social-emotional skillsets. I’m Mary Martin, and my journey into the world of neurodevelopmental therapies began with a background in medical massage and anatomy, where I first discovered my passion for the mind-body connection. But it was my intimate experience with my daughter’s developmental challenges that truly shaped my path and led me to where I am today. As a mother determined to find solutions and a professional eager to learn, I immersed myself in research and specialized training. Today, I’m a Licensed Davis® Methods Autism Approach and Concepts for Life Facilitator, as well as a Certified Cognitive Developmental Therapist. I have also embraced various innovative methods, including Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training and the Equipping Minds program, to offer a comprehensive approach to therapy. I use evidence-based therapies to support children and teens with autism, sensory processing disorder, motor deficiencies, missing executive function and social-emotional skillsets, and learning challenges. My approach is both personal and professional, blending my own experiences with years of rigorous study to provide personalized solutions. My goal is to help neurodivergent children and teens improve their perception, cognitive understanding, grow in emotional and behavioral regulation, and social skills. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful these programs are because they changed my families story and I’m passionate about sharing this knowledge with world. Above all, I’m dedicated to nurturing the minds and hearts of not only my own children but also the hundreds of individuals I’ve had the privilege to support over the years. But my true passion lies in helping people find their footing and achieve their full potential in life. Since founding Building Bridges for the Mind in 2020, I’ve been honored to become a source of hope for families navigating the complexities of neurodevelopmental disorders. My work is more than a job- it is a gift I truly treasure.
