Since it's fair week in Etown this week, we treated the residents to their very own carnival! They enjoyed cotton candy and popcorn along with multiple flavors of lemonade to celebrate National lemonade day! They played a few games and the balloon darts were a huge hit! Prizes were awarded, they could take a "ride" on a roller coaster via the computer and they enjoyed listening to traditional carousel music and balloon animals!

One of our residents very favorite activities is hands down, paint classes! They are so gifted and talented and the end products turn out beautiful! Today we hosted another paint class and tried to harness the last few weeks of summer by painting a pineapple with acrylic paints and water colors! The results were outstanding! Last week the Activities Team treated the residents to a summer luau! We learned about Hawaii, played a game called Pass the Coconut, enjoyed Popsicles and drinks, and even cracked a real coconut and gave out samples. Their names were written in Hawaiian and they enjoyed a small goody bag including some fun glasses and a Lei. It's was a super fun event during these very hot summer days!
