🌟✨EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT✨🌟

Meet Megan Burford, one of our licensed funeral directors who has been with us since December 2024. Megan’s bright personality truly lights up the room, and her friendliness makes every family she serves feel welcomed and cared for during difficult times.

Outside of work, Megan loves spending time with her family, loves her cats, and has a big appreciation for all things odd and unique. You can often find her antique shopping. She’s also in an exciting season of life—currently building a home and recently becoming an aunt!

And to make this spotlight even more special, we’re celebrating Megan’s 30th birthday 🎉🎂
Join us in wishing her a very happy birthday and thanking her for the compassion, positivity, and energy she brings to our team every day. We’re so grateful to have you, Megan! 💛

🌟✨EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT✨🌟

Meet Rachel Roberts! She joined Brown Funeral Home in October 2024 after working EMS for Hardin County, and she’s been such a great addition to our team.

Rachel does a little bit of everything—getting decedents ready for services, assisting at visitations, and supporting our team during funerals. She’s hoping to begin her Funeral Director apprenticeship this spring!

Outside of work, Rachel loves cooking, traveling with her family, helping plan city events, and doing formal hair for dances and weddings.

We’re so thankful to have her 💚

Brown Funeral Home was honored to host the Young Professionals Network of Hardin County tonight!

Supported by the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce, YPN helps develop the next generation of community leaders by giving young professionals (ages 21–41) opportunities to build relationships, connect with civic and business leaders, contribute to the community, and grow personally and professionally.

We’re grateful to support an organization investing in our community’s future.
