The City has partnered with Feeding America, Kentucky's Heartland to distribute food boxes to families in need in Elizabethtown.

The first mobile food pantry will be this Friday, November 7th starting at noon at Pritchard Community Center, while supplies last.

There will be additional mobile food pantries provided by the City of Elizabethtown in the coming weeks. Please continue to follow the City’s social media platforms for additional dates.

This is a mobile food pantry, no identification is required. Simply drive through and a City teammate will load the box of food into your vehicle.

Way back in the early 90’s when this business was starting off, our family was on food stamps, aka SNAP.
Mr. McDowell was starting McDowell Stromatt & Associates in an office at home and taking care of their youngest (out of four kids), while Mrs. Stromatt was the only one with a steady income at the time. We had beef stew every night because it was cheap. McDonald’s was a luxury.

We are all one medical bill, one flat tire away from missing a payment of some sort. Please help others this coming month so that no one has to look for where they get their next meal.
