Snow, Sleet and Rain WILL occur tomorrow (Tuesday):
~ Here's our first call for Snow. Total liquid has trended down a smidge with this storm system, so naturally the totals of all precipitation is a bit lower than I briefly mentioned yesterday.
~ Let me answer a few questions here:
~ Will this rain with the melting snow/ice, create flooding problems? - No.
~ What's the timing of this? -It'll arrive for most between 1-3pm ET and may start as rain. More snow will occur near sunset and just after, but by that time, the storm should be in the colored counties (this is why West and South Central KY is expecting mainly rain).
~ Some flakes on the backside is possible for the white zone, but no real accumulations expected.
~ In teal, mostly snow is expected, but a brief period of rain and/or sleet will likely cut into what would have been 2-5" of snow. Instead now, it'll be a Trace-2".
~ In blue, a pure snow is expected.
~ This will be the good snowmen/snowball type of snow, very wet and heavy flakes.

Some local weather updates!

Chances of *AT LEAST* 3 inches of Snow occuring THIS WEEKEND.
~ Yes, we may see more than the 3 inches (probably will). But this is a simple confidence map to show where the highest probabilities are. I do think everyone ends up with at least 3". In that pink area is where you find the best odds currently, to see some really high totals. We'll have a YouTube video out this evening to walk you through the latest! - George
