Hi everyone!

Shout out to Tiffany’s Cafe (Tiffany, Chelsea, and staff) for the wonderful Christmas party this weekend! ApotheCARE Pharmacy's staff was able to enjoy some awesome food and time with all our co-workers and family. Thank you for all that you do!!

We have teamed up with our friends at Donatos Pizza, and of course the big jolly guy himself!

Join us next Monday, December 22nd, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM as Santa stops by the Elizabethtown Police Department located at 300 South Mulberry Street for “Slices with Santa”.

We will have pizza, cookies (if Santa doesn’t eat them all), and other fun activities.

To help us make sure we have enough food and snacks, we’re asking for a loose headcount. If you plan to attend, please email Chris Denham at chris.denham@elizabethtownky.gov.

That being said, if you don’t RSVP and find yourself able to stop by the day of, you are absolutely welcome…hope to see ya there!

Hello and good morning everyone,

This Thursday, 12/11/25, marks the important filing of the Pharmacists Fight Back Act bill regarding Medicaid/Medicare, and the federal employee benefits plan in Washington, DC.

We are asking our community and supporters to sign our petition in-store and via QR code (See picture in comments) to support the passing of the PBM REFORM ACT bill and allow us to continue to serve our Medicaid and Medicare patients!

The passing of this bill will require PBMs and insurance companies to reimburse independent pharmacies like ApotheCARE Pharmacy at the fair government-recommended rate. Low and delayed reimbursements are threatening to cripple independent pharmacies, leading to closures and reduced patient access to care.

If you are tired of seeing these "fat cats" putting small community pharmacies out of business and overcharging for medications, please use your voice to send a message. Gary Hamm will be going to Washington, DC to give his voice and support for this very important bill.
