At Full of Hope Yoga, we may twist our bodies and turn our heads to look back in many of our seated twist postures, but I often refer to it’s a “ Peek back.”

A peek to remember and learn from our past, but we don’t stay there too long. Next we want to turn and look forward again. Looking forward and hear God’s Sovereign and Faithful voice saying, “Look! Do you not perceive it? I’m doing a new thing. I’m making a way in the wilderness and streams in the waste,” Isaiah 43:19

Keep looking forward with great expectations and curiosity to see what God has in store for you in 2025.

Ever feel a little lost or unsure which way to go?

Life can be like that sometimes, can't it?

At Full of Hope Yoga, we often do this gentle practice where we slowly turn our heads from side to side. It's such a simple movement, but it works wonders for calming the nervous system. ✨ Our brains just love that predictable rhythm!

And you know, it reminds me of that beautiful verse in Isaiah 30:21: "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.'" 🙏

What if we really listened for His voice in every moment, guiding us, reassuring us? "This is the way; walk in it."

Grief can feel overwhelming, like the heaviest and darkest weight on your chest. 💔 But you don't have to carry it alone. And I want you to know, you will not always feel this excruciating suffering.

My journey with grief continued with the loss of my dear mother to lung cancer in 2019. Watching her suffer was excruciating, and I felt helpless, despite my experience as a breast cancer survivor and cancer patient advocate.

In the darkest moments, I clung to my faith. Holding my mother's hand, I read Psalms and played her favorite worship music. I remember her asking, 'What does this mean?' And I could tell her with assurance, 'Mom, it means you're going home to Jesus.' 🙏

The grief of losing a loved one can feel endless. But I've come to experience for myself and witness it in my students and clients, that while the grief and love may remain, the intensity of your suffering will diminish. Not necessarily over time, but as you take the take the time needed to grieve-fully, feel -fully, then you can heal-fully.

As a Trauma Recovery Practitioner my heart and passion is to see more and more women set free from the clutches of anxiety and panic that can accompany grief and loss. I offer compassionate support and guidance as I lead you into the somatic therapeutic process to "Find safety in your body and FEEL SAFE TO FEEL."

I want you to know that you are not alone. I see you. I grieve with you. God sees you, and He grieves with you. There is hope and healing, even within the deepest pain. 🙏

Sometimes hope feels impossible. 💔 If you're experiencing a traumatic loss, feeling anything other than pain and suffering may seem out of reach.

I'm here to tell you, as I've experienced it for myself and witnessed it with hundreds of women - Relief from Anxiety and Overwhelm is possible! Feeling something other than pain and suffering is possible, as we do the hard, beautiful work of "Creating safety in the body where we can FEEL SAFE TO FEEL."

As a Trauma Recovery Practitioner, I help women heal from anxiety, traumatic grief and trauma by teaching somatic (body based) practices that allow my students and clients to switch their nervous systems from a stress response to a relaxation response. Once you're able to experience this relief and empowerment the deeper healing from trauma can begin.
