🌸 Describe what you and your little one are doing from their perspective or a joint perspective. (Include action and location words!) This is great for building vocabulary skills.
🌸 Give choices!
🌸 Model and *wait*, give your child the chance to respond. It is okay if they don’t repeat what you modeled.
*Use a white crayon to draw little designs on before dipping in dye.
🌼 Here are some examples of phrases you can model: Ouch, hot water!, Time to ___, Eggs are ready!, I pick ___, Time to dip!/ Dip it in!, Take it out!, Holy Cow!, Uh-oh!, Wow!, Look!, I need help/ Help me, Let’s do more!, I like it!/ I don’t like it!, All done!
