From Kids to Adults. Here’s What Each Class Is All About
Jiu-Jitsu Programs
- Gracie Combatives (GC): Beginner program for adults.
Focuses on 36 essential techniques to defend against common real-world attacks.
- Reflex Development (RD): (Part of Gracie Combatives) Partner drills that build timing, speed, and confidence with Combatives techniques.
- Master Cycle (MC): Advanced adult program after Combatives. Includes technique (Gi/No-Gi), positional sparring, rolling, fundamentals, and fight simulations with striking.
- Women Empowered (WE): Official Gracie self-defense program for women. A 15-lesson course covering 20 of the most common attacks (hair grabs, chokes, bear hugs, weapon threats, etc.). Techniques use leverage and timing, not strength, so anyone can apply them regardless of size or skill.
- Open Mat: Student-led time to drill, spar, or review techniques.
Kids Programs
- Mat Munchkins (3-5 yrs): Playful intro where parents join on the mat. Builds confidence and “comfort with closeness” through fun games before moving to Little Champs.
- Little Champs (5-7 yrs): Uses 10 core Gracie Games to teach leverage, control, and basic self-defense, disguised as fun. Graduates advance to Jr. Grapplers.
- Jr. Grapplers (7-12 yrs): 33 non-violent self-defense techniques plus verbal assertiveness. Builds confidence while teaching kids to “neutralize and negotiate” with bullies.
- Black Belt Club (Invite Only): Advanced youth program for standout Jr. Grapplers. Reserved for disciplined, respectful leaders on the path to black belt.
Specialty Fitness
- Fit-Jitsu: 30-minute workout using jiu-jitsu-inspired drills for cardio and strength.
- Yoga for GJJ: Mobility, recovery, and injury-prevention yoga designed for grapplers.
