We hope that you and your family have been safe and well throughout this shelter in place period. We have missed being able to provide care to you and your loved ones.

Following the guidelines set forth by the governor and by the California Optometric Association, our office will resume routine eye care starting May 18th. Your safety and the safety of our staff remains our top priority. Therefore, we will be implementing the following policies to create a safe environment for you to return to:

1) All patients and visitors must wear a mask in our office.
2) Only patients (and one parent/guardian for minors) are allowed inside the office to avoid overcrowding.
3) Temperature will be taken during check-in.
4) Door will be locked if there is ten people inside. Please wait outside to be called in.

These extra precautions will be implemented until further notice. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Even though we are not physically in the office until May 18th, you will be able to schedule your appointment online at www.eyeplaceoptometry.com, on our page, or request an appointment by texting (916) 683-5670.

Happy Monday! As we enter another week of social distancing, we hope that everyone is doing their best to stay home and putting space between each other when outside. Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizers if you're on the go. Please take initiative to self-isolate if you have any flu-like symptoms. Let's do our part to prevent hospitals from being overloaded and healthcare providers in the frontline from being overwhelmed. Be cautious. Stay healthy and happy.

The safety of our patients and staff is our priority. We have implemented new policies to help minimize the risk of exposure. We kindly ask that anyone with recent symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath and/or have traveled internationally in the past month reschedule their appointment. Our office hours may vary in the month of March in response to the developing COVID-19 pandemic. Check Yelp or call/text us at (916) 683-5670 to get updated business hours. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We encourage everyone to practice good hygiene and social distancing to keep ourselves and others safe.
