What a musical week it has been! 🎶 First, we had the Cottonwood School talent show featuring 7 talented students from 4th to 10th grade. These talented singers and pianist also brought Thanksgiving Cards and Veterans Day cards. And today, a huge thank you to Sacramento Youth Band for coming and playing a fantastic lunch concert for us! We loved your traditional jazz vibes and can’t wait to see you all again soon. We’re so proud to support these young musicians!

Today, we partnered with our brother community in Granite Bay to support the Soroptimist Group, a global volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls through programs that provide access to education, career development, and economic empowerment. We catered all the food for their high tea- not a crumb was left!

Had a wonderful day at Nimbus Fish Hatchery! While we were hoping to see the salmon runs, they weren’t open yet—so we'll definitely be returning soon. We enjoyed learning about the salmon life cycle and the important work happening at the hatchery. We did get to see the steelhead trout pools, that was fascinating! Can’t wait to come back when the ladders are open and see the action firsthand!

This afternoon we had a very special performance by the talented River Bells Bell Choir!

While bells are often associated with Christmas, the River Bells delighted us with their unique seasonal music—proving that bell ringing is a beautiful art all year round. They did give us a few christmas carols to start the official holiday season! It's always a treat when they come to perform for us, bringing joy and harmony to our community.
