Our Story

We provide ACL/Stifle Bracing, Fracture Bracing, Drop Paw Support, and Ruptured Achilles Tendon Support customized prosthetics for dogs. Pets In Motion is a family run business right here in the Chippewa Valley. Terry Kufner has worked in the prosthetic and orthotic business with humans for 37 years. About 20 years ago he was introduced to a goat and it got him thinking about where else he could share his expertise. In the last five years Terry has been focusing more on custom fabricating ACL-stifle braces, hock braces, drop paw and similar orthotic bracing for dogs. Each brace is custom made for the individual dog right there in his shop. It takes less than a week from your first appointment to be casted to the completed brace being fit to your dog. Adjustments are made on the spot. There is no need for your dog to wait in pain and discomfort for weeks when they can be sent home with a perfect fit in less than 7 days. Our prices are very competitive...there’s no middle man! It is you and Terry working together...and of course a grandkid or two lending a helping hand!
