I don’t always share about my sobriety publicly… but felt I needed to share this.

This photo was the last time I drank — and on December 29th marked 6 years sober.

I’m really proud of the woman I’ve become since then… the one who keeps choosing clarity, presence, and healing — one day at a time. And I’m endlessly grateful for my family and friends who loved me through the messy parts and still do today.

Though I didn’t realize it at the time, this was the beginning of my journey to discover ME. Without the mess, the heaviness, the lessons behind the hard truth, I wouldn’t be where I am today. This was the start of my self-discovery journey, it was cracked me wide open.

Sometimes we have to go through darkness to find the light.

6 years sober. Still growing. Still grateful. ✨
