Are you looking for something different than talk therapy?

InterMission creates a safe space where the horses help kids and adults feel supported as they work through tough emotions.

Cari has been coming out to InterMission since we moved to Minnesota in 2019. It was pretty much love at first sight! She enjoyed her sessions so much that now she is a regular volunteer and horse handler.

Cari was brave enough to hop on camera and talk about what we do here. That’s a longer video, but here I asked her what she’d tell people that were thinking about coming to InterMission.

One of the useful plants growing in the "weedy" areas here on the farm.

Our first unofficial client! I was out in the yard with Nemo and a car drove by s-l-o-o-w-l-y so we walked over to see if they needed something. Turns out, a woman and her son were taking her mom for a drive hoping to see deer. Well, she got to feed treats to a patient horse instead! 😀
