🇺🇸 Veterans Day Reflection 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served. Your courage, your sacrifice, and your willingness to carry what many never see is deeply respected and appreciated. Thank you. 🤝

For many veterans, the experiences of service don’t end when the uniform comes off.
The body remembers what the mind has tried to move past.
Trauma can settle into the nervous system, the breath, the muscles, and even sleep patterns.

Symptoms like:
• Hypervigilance
• Difficulty relaxing
• Emotional emptiness or shutdown
• Irritability
• Feeling on edge or “not safe,” even in safe environments

These are not signs of weakness. They are signs of the body still trying to protect itself. 🫂

Reiki is one supportive option that can help calm the nervous system and bring the body back into a state of rest. It does not require talking about the trauma or reliving painful memories. Instead, it works gently with the body’s own healing response.

Tonight’s Full Beaver Supermoon
This is one of the year’s closest and brightest moons, appearing larger and more luminous in the sky because the Moon is near perigee (its closest point to Earth). A supermoon amplifies emotional clarity, intuition, and energetic release.

This Full Moon marks a culmination point—a moment where truths surface, cycles complete, and what has been building internally becomes visible externally. This energy supports letting go of old patterns, especially those tied to overwhelm, self-sacrifice, people-pleasing, or emotional exhaustion.

How to work with this moon’s energy:
• Journal or speak aloud what you are releasing
• Take time to feel your feelings without judgment
• Cleanse your space (smoke, sound, or salt bowl)
• Sit under the moonlight to ground, soften, and receive
• Set intentions that center peace, ease, and emotional honesty

Affirmation:
I release what weighs on my spirit. I return to myself with softness. I rise in my own timing, rooted and whole.

This moon is not asking you to push.

As we head into the end of the year, life tends to get a little busier. Schedules fill up, stress builds, and many of us find ourselves giving to everyone else—leaving little time to care for our own energy and well-being.

This is your gentle reminder to pause and check in with yourself.

If it’s been a while since your last Reiki session, now is the perfect time to reconnect. A single session can help ground your energy, clear stress, and create space for clarity and calm before the holiday rush begins.

I know it’s not always easy to prioritize yourself, especially this time of year—but your well-being is just as important as everything else on your to-do list.
