Meet Steve Campagna-

After a year of intense treatment for Multiple Myeloma, which included a stem cell transplant, we are thrilled to report that Steve is in remission! 🎉

But that's not the end of his journey.

Before his transplant, Cancer Resources for Elkhart County saw he was on an insurance plan with a very high deductible. By urging him to switch to his wife's plan, which had a significantly lower deductible, Steve saved thousands of dollars.

After his treatment, Steve faced debilitating spinal fractures. He underwent a procedure to fill those fractures, which is helping him stand taller and move better!

Steve, who is a part-time musical pastor at Trinity Church in Elkhart, is a powerful example of strength and perseverance.

Thank you to our community and donors for making this essential support possible!💙

We owe a huge THANK YOU to local entrepreneurs Cam and Sue Snyder, owners of Chubby Trout, Flippin’ Cow, Smokin’ Fattys, and the (soon-to-open) Toasted Turtle!

They are once again donating a portion of sales from their t-shirt and craft beer, which is called Motor Boatin', to Cancer Resources for Elkhart County!

Pictured is Cortnie Jenkins, from Chubby Trout, who presented the check for more than $2,600 to Pete Norton from Cancer Resources for Elkhart County!

As always, 100% of your donations stay right here in Elkhart County to provide planning, emotional, and financial support to local cancer patients. Thank you for your continued support! 💙

We are thrilled to give a huge thank you to Northwood High School for their amazing 'No Shave November Event,' which resulted in a generous $1,600 donation to our organization!

Special thanks to the faculty members who participated: Lieut. Kris Hershberger, Vice Principal Chris Berg, Science Teacher Justin Bell, AD Aj Risedorph, Principal Weston Lampert, and Custodian Mark Osborn.

And yes, it was a very competitive challenge! The faculty member who raised the least had to have his beard painted pink! We love seeing our community leaders get creative for a great cause. Thank you, Northwood! 💗

A massive thank you is in order for our friends, the Northern Indiana Johnny Poppers! ❤️

For years, these incredible people have been supporters of our mission. Their approach to giving is truly inspiring: they use vintage tractors to farm. They donate everything, including the proceeds from the crop (supported by donated seeds, fuel, and fertilizer) to great causes, including ours, as well as food banks, and local FFA chapters.

We are deeply grateful for their commitment and the generous $1,200 donation they made. Your support keeps us growing!

Meet Marsha Williams 💙-

In June 2025, Marsha was well over a year into her fight against Multiple Myeloma. After aggressive treatment, including a stem cell transplant, Marsha's body got a "restart."

For 18 months, Marsha will need to retake every vaccination. For a retiree on Medicare with a high deductible, this has become a massive out-of-pocket expense.

Thanks to your donations, Cancer Resources for Elkhart County stepped in to help cover the costs of Marsha’s vaccinations, protecting her during her recovery and allowing her to focus on healing. We also guided her to options for a better Medicare supplement plan to protect her future.

Thank you for being the reason we can provide this critical support right here in Elkhart County. 💙
