Yesterday, Brenda Dailey passed away. She was a pillar in the WV EMS field and Medical field because of her knowledge and skills. She dedicated her life to taking care of others. She was an excellent nurse, paramedic, and teacher. She loved to help teach and train new EMS and nurses. She always was the patient’s advocate and was the one people who wanted at their bedside. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and always did everything in her power to make sure they were taken care of. She was definitely one of a kind and she will be missed by us all. Rest easy, Bren!!!

We want to thank the following EMS agencies who covered our county today while we all gathered to say goodbye to Wilma. Lewis Co. EMS, Upshur Co. EMS, Shaver’s Fork Fire and Rescue and Tucker Co. EMS.

Huge thanks goes out to TSK Catering and Events for catering the food for the family dinner at the squad.

Thank you to Elkins Fire Dept. for helping with the dinner and clean up.

Coming together and supporting each other is what Emergency Services is all about. Many thanks to all that helped today.

We lost one of ours today, unexpectedly. Wilma Rogers was a dedicated EMT with us for 16 years and had recently retired. However, she continued to fill in for people and covered shifts and events when needed. Wilbur, as we all knew her by, was one of a kind and could always make us laugh. Please keep her family in your prayers as they deal with their huge loss. Till we see ya again, Wilbur!! 💔
