Today we celebrated our Thanksgiving lunch, and what a beautiful day it was! We were so grateful to welcome 67 guests and family members to join us for food, fellowship, and lots of smiles. 🧡

Our residents truly enjoyed the love and laughter filling the room, and days like this remind us how special our community is. Thank you to all the families who took the time to celebrate with us — you made the day unforgettable.

🦃 Turkey Week is officially underway at Mountain Memories! 🧇✨

This morning we kicked things off with our Annual Breakfast with a Turkey — and it was a hit! Our leadership team rolled up their sleeves and came in early to make fresh, fluffy waffles for all our residents and staff.

There were smiles, laughs, and even a visit from our favorite giant turkey to brighten everyone’s day. 🥰

Here’s to a week filled with fun, gratitude, and plenty of turkey spirit!

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Davis & Elkins College Nursing Students into our facility for several visits as part of their hands-on learning experience. Their enthusiasm, compassion, and dedication were clear each time they were here.

Our residents truly enjoyed getting to know these future healthcare professionals, and we are grateful for the kindness and support they shared during their time with us. 🌼

We also loved seeing one of our amazing staff members beam with pride as his daughter — one of the visiting nursing students — followed in his caring footsteps. Moments like these remind us just how special our community truly is. 💙✨

Thank you, D&E Nursing Students, for spending part of your learning journey with us — we’re cheering you on as you continue your path in caring for others! 👏💉📚

🔥 Things really heated up at Mountain Memories today! 🔥

Our staff took part in fire extinguisher safety training and learned how to properly put out a fire — safety first! 👩‍🚒🧯

Don’t worry though… we’ve got it under control and we’re officially ready to tackle that Thanksgiving turkey! 🦃😉

At Mountain Memories , we are proud to honor the veterans within our community and across the nation. Your service and commitment to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

A special thank-you to the American Legion and WV Caring Hospice for helping us celebrate and show appreciation to our veterans today. Your kindness and support made this day even more meaningful. ❤️🤍💙
