on with quality physical therapy. Our commitment remains quality one on one care, exceptional service, convenient access, prompt treatment, and a comfortable atmosphere. We are a private outpatient physical therapy clinic, fully staffed and equipped to handle any ambulatory physical therapy needs. Specialties include: sports related injuries; neck and back injuries; work related injuries; hand injuries; sprains; strains; fractures; joint replacement; tendonitis; arthritis; stroke; traumatic brain injury; spinal cord injury; vestibular therapy; and pediatrics. We accept most if not all local insurance providers. We also accept motor vehicle accident and workers compensation cases. Cash for service and extended payment plans are available. Elkins Physical Therapy Service offers a state of the art 1500 square foot gym and therapeutic pool. Equipped with free weights, cables, cardio machines, full quantum exercise circuit, and therapeutic current pool. Fitness Center Hours
Open: 7:30am-6:00pm Monday-Friday
Fees: $30 per month (2 month minimum when first joining)
$300 per year if paid in full.
$10 per week
$5 per day

Provider Spotlight Merida Baldwin, PTA
Merida is from Barbour County and graduated from PBHS in 2014. She is a Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from Pierpont in 2017 with an associates degree. Merida has been working with EPTS since 2022 and enjoys the variety her role brings each day. She likes working with a wide range of diagnoses, including orthopedic conditions, geriatrics, and athletes, and she values helping patients improve their mobility and quality of life through hands-on care. Merida is a member at Faith Way Baptist Church where she plays the piano. In her free time, Merida enjoys being outdoors on her family’s farm and spending time with her husband, Tyler and daughters, Avaleigh and Addison.

Ashley Ryan, PTA
EPTS Belington

Ashley is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with over 15 years of experience in patient-centered care. Ashley graduated from Elkins High School in 2003 and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from Fairmont State University in 2008.

Since 2008, Ashley has been proudly employed with EPTS, where she has developed extensive experience treating a wide range of diagnoses. Her professional interests include orthopedic post-surgical rehabilitation, geriatrics, and balance training, with a strong focus on helping patients regain function, confidence, and independence.

Outside of work, Ashley is married and the parent of four children. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially camping and hiking in the National Forest. Her family has a small hobby farm where she enjoys gardening along with raising chickens and goats. She finds great enjoyment in her family's active lifestyle, where she spends a majority of her free time in the stands cheering on her children in their desired sport.

Shannon is a licensed physical therapist and certified athletic trainer with a focus on sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. She graduated from West Virginia University with degrees in Athletic Training and Physical Therapy and holds advanced certifications in dry needling, Kinesio taping (KT Tape), IASTM, cupping, and compression band therapy.

Shannon is passionate about helping active individuals and athletes prevent injury, recover efficiently, and return to peak performance through evidence-based, individualized care. Outside of her professional work, Shannon and her husband are involved in agriculture, where they enjoy raising beef cattle. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, weightlifting, and spending time with friends and family.
