RSV affects your child's nose, eyes, throat and lungs. It spreads when your child coughs, sneezes or shares food or drinks. RSV can make it hard for a child to breathe. It is important to watch the symptoms, especially in babies.

‘Tis the holiday and celebration season for our amazing Union Hospital caregivers! ❄️ They enjoyed a delicious variety of food and desserts for lunch and dinner as part of our annual Holiday Meal. Across our campuses, caregivers shared smiles and holiday cheer while preparing, serving, and devouring a tasty feast made possible by our incredible Food & Nutrition team and our valued partner, Sodexo USA. It truly takes a village to make this day successful!

Congratulations to our newly promoted Public Safety team members and courageous caregivers 🎉 24 Public Safety members received promotions for their outstanding work and dedication to protecting ChristianaCare caregivers, patients and community members. For outstanding performance and lifesaving actions, 18 caregivers received awards for springing into action to help save the lives of patients. 9 caregivers also received certificates of valor for mobilizing quickly to mitigate a safety matter.

Yesterday, the Center for WorkLife Wellbeing spread holiday cheer throughout ChristianaCare Union Hospital as our festive wellbeing wagon rolled across campus! Stocked with sweet and savory treats, the wagon offered caregivers a brief moment to pause, enjoy, and feel appreciated during this busy season.

The Center for WorkLife Wellbeing is committed to supporting, uplifting, and caring for those who care for others—and this celebration was just one small way to say thank you.

Give the gift of safe play this holiday season! Holiday shopping is in full swing. When selecting toys for your little ones, safety should always be a top priority.
