Job description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Home Healthcare Physical & Occupational Therapy Marketing & Operations Specialist to support the growth of our home health therapy services. This role is a hybrid position that combines on-the-road marketing to referral sources, recruitment of therapy staff, and back-end operational support, including credentialing and referral system setup. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, organized, and comfortable balancing fieldwork with administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Marketing & Referral Development
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources including: Physicians’ offices, Hospitals, Case Managers, Discharge planners, Skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
* Conduct regular in-person marketing visits throughout Cecil, Harford, Kent, and Baltimore counties
• Educate referral partners on available Physical and Occupational Therapy home health services
* Track marketing activities and referral trends
• Represent the organization professionally at meetings, events, and networking opportunities.

Recruitment & Staffing Support
* Recruit Physical Therapists & Occupational Therapists for home health services
• Assist with job postings, candidate outreach, and initial screenings
• Coordinate interviews and onboarding support
• Maintain relationships with therapists to support retention and coverage needs Credentialing & Back-Office Operations
• Complete credentialing and re-credentialing with insurance payers
• Set up and maintain access to referral systems used by hospitals and physician offices
• Assist with compliance documentation and therapist onboarding requirements
• Coordinate communication between referral sources, therapists, and internal staff
• Support operational workflows to ensure timely start of care Qualifications
• Experience in home health, healthcare marketing, therapy services, or medical office administration preferred
• Knowledge of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy services a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Comfortable working independently and traveling locally
• Proficient with computers, EMRs, and referral platforms
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications:
• Experience in home health, healthcare marketing, therapy services, or medical office administration preferred
• Knowledge of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy services a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Comfortable working independently and traveling locally
