Area 10 Agency on Aging is the premier source of information and access to resources for seniors, persons with disabilities and family caregivers living in Monroe and Owen counties. Programs that serve our community’s rapidly growing aging population include the Aging and Disability Resource Center, case management, meal delivery and food pantry, assistance to the homebound, transportation services, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, senior housing, and the Endwright Center. Annually, Area 10 provides case management to more than 500 clients, delivers more than 67,000 nutritious meals to homes and neighborhood meal sites, answers more than 6,500 calls from those seeking health and human services, matches 450 adults with meaningful volunteer opportunities, provides 200,000 rides through Rural Transit bus service, and houses 100 seniors in three affordable apartment complexes.
