Thanks for the great infographics! Which way do you make the /r/ sound? There are two ways to do it, tongue tip curled back, or whole tongue pulled back, both require anchoring the back sides of the tongue on the inside of the back top molars. No wonder it can be tricky for so many kids to produce, plus, it's not a sound that is easy to see what the tongue is doing.
