Missouri Highlands Health Care is proud to share that members of our team were recently highlighted in a national Health Affairs article showcasing the important work being done by community health centers across the country.

A special congratulations to Dr. Jill Bleything and Dr. Ian Pelletier, who were featured for their dedication to providing high-quality care to our patients. Their commitment to serving our rural communities with compassion and excellence reflects the very heart of our mission.

We are also excited to recognize Karen White, CEO of Missouri Highlands, whose leadership and perspective were featured in the article. Karen shared how our focus on quality improvement and value-based care helps strengthen services across all of our clinics — ultimately improving health outcomes for the patients we serve.

This month, we’re excited to highlight Dakota Turley, RN, a dedicated leader who joined the Missouri Highlands Health Care family on March 31, 2025.

Dakota is Van Buren through and through—born and raised along the beautiful Current River, where she also raised her three children. After years of cheering on the Bulldogs, she proudly says she bleeds Black & Gold!
