This is fascia.
And this is where long-term pain patterns live.

Fascia is a continuous connective tissue system that surrounds and supports muscles, joints, nerves, and organs. When it becomes dehydrated or restricted due to injury, repetitive strain, posture, or stress it can limit range of motion, alter biomechanics, and contribute to chronic pain.

Maddie specializes in Myofascial Massage and integrates diaphragmatic breathwork to support nervous system regulation during fascial release.

Clinically, this matters.

Breath influences intra-abdominal pressure, vagal tone, and tissue responsiveness. By cueing slow, controlled breathing while applying sustained, low-load pressure, Maddie helps reduce protective muscle guarding and allows the fascia to respond more effectively to manual release.

Five years ago today, we didn’t just open K&A Massage Therapy, we walked away from the franchise world and built something better.

We left behind non-compete contracts, corporate rules, and a system that treated therapists like replaceable parts instead of skilled professionals.

We took what that world taught us… and did the opposite.

Opening during a pandemic was a risk.
Breaking free and betting on ourselves was the real move.

Five years later, we stand here with nine incredible therapists, each with over five years of experience, all choosing to work in a place built on respect, autonomy, and real care not quotas.
