Acadia Dermatology is now hiring! We are a dermatology practice located in Ellsworth, Maine. Full and part-time opportunities available. The Medical Receptionist will perform various office duties to keep our dermatology practice running efficiently. We are committed to giving our patients the best experience and care possible.

Requirements: At a minimum, a high school level education. Prefer someone with schooling, training, and/or experience in the medical field. If you have experience with medical billing/coding/insurance that would be a plus. Must be able to read, write, type, and spell appropriately. Must have the ability to interact with staff and patients in a professional manner. Acadia Dermatology is now hiring! We are a dermatology practice located in Ellsworth, Maine. Full and part-time opportunities available. The Medical Assistant will perform various office and clinical duties to keep our dermatology practice running efficiently. We are committed to giving our patients the best experience and care possible.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
*Greeting, checking in, and checking out patients
*Ensuring accurate data input into patient’s charts
*Printing, scanning, and faxing
*Answering telephone calls, taking messages, and scheduling patients
*Performing tasks to make the office efficient/compliant with regulations
*Rooming patients, assisting with medical procedures, and scribing notes
*Sanitizing and cleaning areas as needed
*Assisting with medication refills
*Reviewing answering service
*Keeping office supplies adequately stocked
*Facilitating patient flow
*Sending out medical records
*Assisting and educating patients on pre- and post-operative care
