A reminder that our Business Offices*, Outpatient, and Rural Health Clinics are closed today (12/24) & tomorrow (12/25)—our ER is always open for emergencies.

*Financial Services & Medical Records will also be closed the day after Christmas (Fri 12/26). If you simply need to make or drop off a payment on 12/26, you may do so at the Ellsworth Clinic registration desk. All billing questions or medical records requests will be deferred until Monday (Dec 29).

Due to high winds 💨 today, the ECMC Administration Building doors will be locked for safety reasons, though we are still open and continuing otherwise normal operations.

📂 If you need to pick up medical records, please enter through the main hospital entrance and let our Admissions staff know how we can assist you or call (785) 472-3111 ext. 1116 to make arrangements.

💳 If you have billing questions or need to make a payment, our Patient Financial Navigators are located at the Ellsworth Clinic and will be happy to help! They can be reached by calling (785) 472-3111 ext. 1950

Please plan ahead and contact your pharmacy early to ensure your medication refills have enough time to be processed.
For emergencies, ECMC’s ER remains open 24/7.

Today we welcomed Ellsworth High School students from USD 327’s Introduction to Healthcare class for a hands-on tour of career opportunities at ECMC.

As we celebrate, we also extend our appreciation to the EMS crews, Sheriff’s Office, and Police Department teams who are on duty today. If you're working, we’d be honored to serve you a warm Thanksgiving meal between 11:30 AM–1:00 PM at Make Your Day Cafe' at ECMC.

Earlier this year, Ellsworth County Medical Center received the Bronze Get With The Guidelines – Coronary Artery Disease Rural Recognition from the American Heart Association for our work in caring for patients with acute coronary syndrome.

In rural communities like ours, patients face unique challenges — and our team continues to meet those needs with skill, compassion, and dedication. Thank you to every staff member who makes this level of care possible.
