I am such a FAN of these new River Dreams pieces that have just made their way into the shop! One-of-a-kind aromatherapy jewelry, these are made with locally foraged botanicals, lava stones and lots of love and care!

Crystal Heffron is a resident East End artist with whom I share a passion for the natural world. We are so happy to have a talented neighborhood artist who puts so much heart into every piece she creates.

If you’re curious but want a little more understanding before joining the retreat, getting familiar with chakras is a great place to begin. Chakras are energy centers throughout the body that influence how we feel physically, emotionally, and mentally. Each one connects to different areas of the body and aspects of overall well-being, and when they’re balanced, things tend to flow with more ease. Single-use plastics are the biggest contributors to ocean pollution. Items like food and beverage bottles, wrappers, caps, and plastic bags make up a huge portion of marine debris, and most of it comes from everyday use on land.

In fact, nearly 80% of ocean plastic starts on land 🌍, with bottles, caps, and food packaging consistently showing up as the most common waste found during coastal cleanups. Small swaps in daily habits can help reduce that impact more than we realize. Using our natural bar products and our refill center on a regular basis is one of them!

WHEW! We did the MARATHON delivery of joy to so many hardworking Administrative Assistants throughout our community!

Chris delivered to UW-River Falls and CVTC, while I took care of the AAs at the high school, the Ellsworth Community School District, and the village of Ellsworth. We also sent a package out to our friends at the College of Southern Nevada.

Chris has always recognized the efforts of the college AAs he's worked with over the years, and we've tried to make sure to include the AAs at the school where our kids attend. I started including the village of Ellsworth team after we purchased our building and saw how much work they put into our shared vision of a beautiful downtown, and this year, with all they will be required to do fielding questions, complaints, and navigating big budget changes for so many families, we thought this was the time to also bring some self-care to the district office staff.

It's just a little way we like to say THANK YOU to hardworking people who work behind the scenes, those that serve our family and our community everyday.
