Do you truly believe God's love for you is secure? If not, what would you change?

Maybe it looks like this:
• Stop striving for approval and start resting in grace
• Have peace even on your worst days
• Silence the voice of shame, because your past no longer defines you
• Love others more freely, because you're no longer trying to feel emptiness
• Find joy in your relationship with God, instead of feeling pressure to perform

Come experience the renewing of your mind and heart with us on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm! Hineston Tabernacle

I Am Being Led by God
When you feel stuck or uncertain, remember this: God doesn't leave you to figure things out alone. The Holy Spirit guides those who belong to Him. If you’re willing to listen and follow, He’s already showing you the way forward as you take it one step at a time.

Negative Thought:
"I don't know what to do. I'm lost and directionless."

Truth to Replace It:
I am led by the Spirit of God because I am His child. (Romans 8:14)

Think About It:
Where do you need God's direction right now? Ask Him to lead you today, then trust that He will.

I Am God's Child
When you struggle with feeling unseen or unimportant, God's Word gives you an anchor. You are not defined by what others think or by what you've accomplished.

You are a child of God. Chosen, loved, and named by Him. That identity isn't something you earn. It's something He's already given you.

Negative Thought:
"I don't matter. No one really sees me or cares."

Truth to Replace It:
I am a beloved child of God (1 John 3:1), chosen and deeply loved by Him.

Think About It:
What would change in your life if you truly believed God sees you, knows you, and calls you His child?

I Am Being Transformed
David wrote Psalm 51 after his sin with Bathsheba, at a moment when he could have believed he was too far gone. But instead of hiding, he turned to God and asked for a clean heart.

He didn’t try to fix himself; he asked God to renew him from within. Transformation often begins at rock bottom as we trust God to bring life out of our brokenness.

Negative Thought:
"I’m done. This is something I can’t recover from."

Truth to Replace It:
God is renewing my heart and transforming me from the inside out.

Think About It:
What part of your life feels stuck or unchangeable? Talk to God about it today and ask Him to do what only He can do, create something new in you.

I Am Forgiven
God doesn't hold our past against us. When we confess our sin, He’s faithful to forgive. Not because we earned it, but because of His character.

This isn't conditional love that waits for you to be perfect. It's covenant faithfulness that says: you're clean, you're free, you're forgiven.

Negative Thought:
"God is still disappointed in me for what I did."

Truth to Replace It:
I am forgiven. God is faithful and just to forgive me. (1 John 1:9)

Think About It:
Is there something you keep replaying in your mind that God has already forgiven? What would change if you started believing you're as forgiven as He says you are?

I Am Not Alone
God doesn't just promise to stay with you when things are going well. He promises He is with you wherever you go. That means you can face uncertainty, change, and even loneliness with courage because you're not carrying it alone. His presence is constant, not conditional.

Negative Thought:
"I'm all alone. No one understands what I'm going through."

Truth to Replace It:
I'm not alone. God is with me wherever I go. (Joshua 1:9)

Think About It:
When you feel alone this week, how can remembering God's presence change the way you respond?

I Can Take My Thoughts Captive
You don't have to accept every thought that enters your mind. Paul writes that we "take every thought captive to obey Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV), not just some thoughts, but every one. This means you can interrupt a destructive thought, examine it, and decide whether it aligns with God's truth. When it doesn't, you replace it.

Negative Thought:
"I can't control what I think."

Truth to Replace It:
I take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Think About It:
What's one recurring thought you need to capture today and replace with truth?
