President William Henry Harrison, the oldest President to take the oath of office to that point, gave the longest inaugural address in history…in freezing weather…without a coat.

Exposure and fatigue led to pneumonia, and Washington D.C.'s unsanitary water supply led to typhoid; he passed away having served only 31 days in office.
