We kicked off our Town Hall meeting with our families yesterday with great energy—and what better way to launch our Jaybird World Tour Spotlight Month: Mexico than by celebrating Cinco de Mayo! 🇲🇽

Our Town Hall meetings with families are an essential part of our community. They create space for open communication, shared updates, and meaningful connection—ensuring our families feel informed, involved, and supported every step of the way.

Afterward, we came together to enjoy delicious food, vibrant flavors, and a festive taste of Mexican culture. Moments like these truly bring our community closer together.

We had a wonderful co-hosted Lunch & Learn with Thrive Personalized Medical Rehabilitation and the incredible Care Coordinator Team at Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital last week.

Your insights sparked meaningful conversations and gave us valuable tools we can bring back to better support those we serve every day.

Nothing brings out the smiles (and a little friendly competition!) like a good game of cornhole… or as we proudly call it here in the Midwest—bags! 🎯

Our residents at The Indigo at Elmhurst had an absolute blast tossing bags, cheering each other on, and enjoying a Montessori-inspired activity that encourages movement, focus, and connection.

Fun fact: Around here, we call it “bags” because the game is all about tossing those bean bags into the board—simple, classic, and deeply rooted in Midwest tradition!

Moments like these remind us that joy lives in familiar, meaningful activities—where everyone can participate, engage, and feel successful 💙

On April 25, we were honored to be a stop on the Progressive Tour in partnership with the Elmhurst Senior Commission—welcoming Mayor Scott Levin, our Elmhurst Aldermen, and community leaders into our home.

Thank you for taking the time to tour, connect, and experience the heart behind what we do. These moments matter. They spark ideas, strengthen partnerships, and move us all forward.

Still feeling energized after such an incredible time at the CMSA Mid-America Conference last week!

From meaningful conversations to fresh ideas and new connections, it was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do every day. Being surrounded by so many passionate professionals Illinois Continuity of Care Association, Bristol Hospice, Thrive Personalized Medical Rehabilitation, Elite Care Management and many others who are dedicated to care coordination and improving lives was truly inspiring.

We were proud to partner with our sister community, River Glen of St. Charles, making the experience even more special as we connected, collaborated, and represented together.

We’re bringing that momentum back home to The Indigo at Elmhurst—continuing to elevate the experience for our residents and families, and strengthening the partnerships that help us serve our community better.

Last week, Easter Jeopardy, generously sponsored by Senior Helpers of Greater Chicago, IL, was a huge hit! Residents had an absolute blast—rocking their bunny ears, creating festive bracelets, and sharing lots of laughter along the way. 🐰✨

The excitement didn’t stop there—our families were truly WOW’d by the special Senior Helpers prizes, making the day even more special for everyone involved. Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to come together, celebrate, and create lasting memories. 💛
