Hello everyone! My name is Natalie McAvoy and I am the current president of Hope for Gold at Elmhurst University.

I just wanted to let everyone know that our event this semester is going to be on Thursday, March 28th 5pm-7pm in the Frick Center, Prospect Room.

Good morning Hope for Gold families! We got approved to host a Halloween Party this year on October 23rd from 10am-1pm in room 18 in the Chapel (downstairs). We will be having Mac n cheese, chips, and cookies along with water and lemonade to drink. This event is open to all families involved with Hope for Gold or families that want to be a part of Hope for Gold. We have many games and activities planned out. It is a costume party so wear your best costume! I will be reaching out to those who were involved last year with Hope for Gold, but if there is a family on here who would like to be involved, just let me know in the comments and I will add you to the list! Hello Hope for Gold families! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Novelee Wiley. I am the Hope for Gold president again this year. Karly Krown is my vice president. I am so excited to see all of you and your children this year. We will have important dates coming up so be on the lookout for that important information. I will be contacting you guys very soon. Also, if any of you following our page were not contacted last year, please message me and let me know that way I can add you to the list of families. Thank you! Good morning, Hope for Gold will be doing a “mini parade” this Saturday since Elmhurst will not be having their big parade this year. I am looking for volunteers to participate in the parade (at no cost). It would be very helpful to have a vehicle because I only have 2 more seats available. We will be making posters to put on our vehicles too! I will buy all the goodies for the “parade.” This will be at any time Saturday so if you can only do part of the day that is totally fine! I can’t wait to see the children again☺️

Hello everyone! Unfortunately, Hope for Gold will not be doing a Halloween Party this year because we want to ensure the safety of the children and their families. Instead, we are delivering goody bags to your homes and to meet you with social distancing of course. So everyone can message me their addresses and we can discuss times for us to meet. We also invite your child to participate in a Halloween Costume Contest. All you have to do is message me a photo of your child in their costume and I will post it with all of the other children! I will need the photo no later than the 25th. Thank you for all your support!

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that my name is Novelee Wiley. I am the new president of Hope for Gold. I am so excited to get to know you and your children.

I also wanted to ask if any of the kids would like to ride with me in the homecoming parade on Saturday at 11am. I have room for 2 more people in my car. Masks and seat belts will be required and we will play Disney music throughout the parade. If you have any further questions about the parade, just let me know. Thank you!
