What an incredible day! Today we delivered over 1,500 donated items plus a $2,000 monetary donation to support the York Township Food Drive.

This week at The Roosevelt, our hearts were full. 🐾💛

What started as a simple idea during Adopt-a-Senior Dog Month grew into something fabulous.

We visited Hinsdale Humane Society and met several dogs and cats, and we wanted to make sure they were all adopted.

Over the past few weeks:
✨ Independent & Assisted Living residents created artwork and posters
✨ Memory Care residents lovingly assembled doggie gift bags
✨ IC Catholic Prep students partnered with us to place posters throughout Elmhurst
✨ And our friends at Hinsdale Humane Society joined us onsite with dogs and cats hoping to find new families.

We’re thrilled to share that two pets were adopted, and we are still hopeful for a third.

Knowing that our residents played a part in helping these animals find loving homes is something we will cherish.

As part of Roosevelt Gives Back, The Roosevelt is supporting each adoption with a donation along with essential supplies for the new families.
