A little about me! ☺️
Erin graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with her Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Psychology. She then graduated with her Master of Social Work from the joint master's program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro through their Advanced Standing program. Erin has experience working with individuals of all ages and walks of life through her time spent as a licensed clinical social worker on an inpatient psychiatric unit. Through this, she has worked with individuals with various diagnoses, cultural backgrounds, and family dynamics. Erin is passionate about empowering her clients to find their voice and feel confident to express themselves authentically in their daily lives. Erin uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Child Centered Play Therapy to support clients in the therapeutic setting. When Erin isn’t in the office she enjoys listening to True Crime Podcasts, lounging with her dog and spending time with those she loves!
