Okay… what is that smell? 👟

Shoes? Gym bag? Backseat of the car after practice?

Instead of tossing everything straight into the wash, try this quick deodorizing spray:

½ cup rubbing alcohol
20 drops each Tea Tree, Cypress, and Lemon 🍋

Add everything to a spray bottle and shake well. Spray directly onto the problem area.

For shoes, take the insoles out first, spray lightly, and let everything dry before putting them back in.

Even simpler? Put a few drops of Purify on a cotton ball and drop it into the shoes overnight. ✨

Crisis averted.

If I had to pick one oil that gets used constantly in our house, it would be Lemon. 🍋

Sticky residue on jars? Lemon.
Price tag won’t peel off cleanly? Lemon.
Grease spot that won’t budge? Lemon.
Tree sap on hands? Definitely Lemon.

It works as a natural alternative to products like Goo Gone and handles all those random little messes that pop up during the week.

It’s one of those oils that earns its spot in the cabinet. ✨

What’s your go-to use for Lemon?

Still using store bought make up remover wipes? 💄

These DIY wipes remove makeup while keeping your skin from feeling dry or tight.

You’ll need:
2 tbsp witch hazel
2 tbsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
2 tbsp distilled water
1–2 drops Tea Tree oil 🌿
1 roll paper towels

Mix the witch hazel, FCO, and water in a bowl, then stir in the Tea Tree oil.

Cut the paper towel roll in half and remove the cardboard tube from one half. Place it in an airtight container and pour the liquid mixture evenly over the roll.

Put the lid on and give it a gentle shake to distribute.

When you’re ready, pull wipes from the center and use as needed. ✨

We’ve used a lot of swaps this month, but one product that deserves more credit is the On Guard Cleaner Concentrate. 🚗

It’s incredibly versatile and one of my favorite places to use it is the car.

Add 1 tablespoon of On Guard Cleaner Concentrate to a bucket and fill with hot water. Wipe down the interior surfaces first, then use a soft rag to wash the exterior.

Simple mix. Clean car. Costs almost nothing. ✨

How do you use your On Guard Cleaner Concentrate most often?

Fresh sheets just hit differently. 🛏️

After I change the bed, I like to give everything a light mist before pulling the covers back.

Here’s an easy linen spray:

1 tsp witch hazel or vodka
Water
30 drops Lavender 💜

Add everything to a 2 oz spray bottle, shake well, and lightly mist your sheets and pillows.

Lavender is a great choice at night since it helps create a calmer, more relaxed vibe before sleep. ✨

Do you mist your linens, or is this a new habit to try?

Body wash is something you use daily, so it makes sense to know what’s in it. 🚿

Here’s a simple version you can mix yourself:

½ cup unscented castile soap
4 tbsp vegetable glycerin
3 tbsp fractionated coconut oil
10 drops essential oil (Citrus Bliss, Peppermint, Grapefruit, or Lime work great) 🍊

Add everything to an 8 oz glass pump bottle. Shake before each use to blend.

It lathers well, smells fresh, and skips the synthetic fragrance. ✨

And if you’d rather not DIY, the doTERRA Spa Body Wash is a great ready-made option.

Fun fact: it also works as a bubble bath.

Store-bought foaming hand soap runs out fast… and adds up fast. 🧴

Making your own is honestly simple.

You’ll need:
2 tbsp unscented castile soap
1 tbsp fractionated coconut oil
10 drops of your favorite essential oil 🌿
Water

Add the castile soap, FCO, and oils to a foaming soap dispenser. Slowly fill the rest with water, leaving space for the pump.

Screw the lid on, shake gently, and it’s ready to use. ✨

And if DIY isn’t your thing, you can always grab the ready-made On Guard Foaming Hand Soap instead and call it a day.

If your sink smells fine… until you turn on the garbage disposal, you know what I mean. 😅

Food particles love to hang out in there. Instead of pouring in something harsh, try these simple disposal refreshers.

You’ll need:
2 cups baking soda
1 cup salt
½ cup water
⅓ cup unscented castile soap
30 drops Lemon oil 🍋

Mix dry ingredients first. Stir in the soap and oil. Slowly add water, 1 tbsp at a time, until it feels like damp sand.

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto parchment paper and let dry 24 hours. Store in a glass jar.

When needed, drop 1–3 into the disposal and turn it on.

Fresh sink. No chemical smell. ✨

If I could outsource one room in the house to clean, it would be this one. 🛁

Soap scum, water spots, mystery buildup… it’s a whole situation.

Instead of grabbing a harsh cream cleanser, try this softer version:

¾ rounded cup baking soda
¼ cup unscented castile soap
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp vinegar
5–10 drops Lemon oil 🍋

Mix the baking soda and castile soap first. Stir in the water, then add the vinegar and Lemon oil. You’re looking for a soft, spreadable paste.

Store it in an airtight container. This batch should give you 2–4 uses.

Apply it to tubs, tile, sinks, or even the toilet. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes, then scrub and wipe clean with a damp cloth.

It cuts through buildup without that overpowering chemical smell that makes you want to leave the room. ✨

If you’ve ever scanned your dish soap on the Think Dirty app, you probably didn’t love the score. 🧴

And since we use it every single day, it’s one of those swaps that actually makes sense.

Here’s a simple version you can mix yourself:

2 cups unscented castile soap
20 drops Lime
8 drops Lemon 🍋
6 drops Citrus Bliss

Pour everything into a clean bottle and shake to combine.

When you’re ready to wash dishes, add 1–2 tablespoons to your dishwater or apply a small amount directly to a natural sponge.

That’s it.

Once you start replacing everyday grocery store products with easy mixes like this, it really makes you rethink what you’ve been buying all these years. ✨

Warmer weather means more fresh fruit and veggies in the house. 🍎🥬

The downside? Most produce has been sprayed and coated before it ever reaches your kitchen.

First thing I do when it comes home? Wash it.

Option 1 (Spray):
¼ cup white or apple cider vinegar
10 drops Lemon essential oil 🍋
Top an 8 oz spray bottle with distilled water

Shake and spray your produce, then rinse.

Option 2 (Soak):
Fill a sink or bowl with water
Add 3–5 drops Lemon oil
3–4 pumps On Guard foaming hand wash

Let produce soak 5–10 minutes, then rinse.

Bonus: I’ve noticed my produce stays fresh longer this way. ✨

So let’s start simple … the kitchen.

Try one of these easy all-purpose sprays:

Option 1
¼ cup white vinegar
1 ¾ cups water
30 drops essential oil 🌿

Option 2
2 tbsp On Guard Cleaning Concentrate
15 drops essential oil
Top with distilled water

Add to a 16 oz spray bottle, shake, and use on countertops and sealed surfaces.

Our Story

I completed my massage training in 1995 at the Healing Hands Institute of Westwood, NJ. and I hold a New York State License in Massage Therapy. Over the 20+ years I have been massaging, I have seen the best results when I incorporate doTERRA essential oils into the treatment. Whether it is an AromaTouch Technique, which focuses on the application of 8 essential oils to the back and feet, or a Swedish massage, I have found that the addition of the essential oils enhances the client’s experience by aiding in stress reduction, relaxation and releasing muscle tension.

I enjoy helping people solve their health concerns by providing natural solutions. These solutions can be in the form of hands-on therapies like massage or AromaTouch, or recommendations for the best products to use to achieve your desired result. I have 14 years of experience in using therapeutic grade essential oils to resolve all kinds of ailments and I am happy to share my experience with you. Together, we can create a wellness plan for you. I would be honored to assist you on your wellness journey and look forward to partnering with you to help you discover the best solutions for you and your family.
