Oooooo… the mountains are calling!

Opening day on Mt. Washington is this weekend! So don’t forget to prep your body, stretch those muscles and reconnect to that mind body connection so you you move with intention on the mat AND on the slopes 🏂

Our yoga is meant to expand WAY beyond the mat, but it is a beautiful space to reconnect to the foundations of your being.

To bring deep presence to any activity, conversation, meal or moments of stillness.

So hopefully I’ll see you on the mat 🧘‍♀️ AND on the mountain 🏔️ this season ✨❤️

The holidays can be extra hard on digestion. Bloating, constipation, heartburn ❤️‍🔥

The busy schedules, decadent foods, higher stress, and sub optimal sleep… digestion of often where it hits the hardest.

Super simple solution - grab a bag of each spice and mix it up. D O N E ✅ DONE

You can grind if you have mesh teabags at home, but I tend to just throw them in whole and then allow a little extra steep time. 1-2 TB and steep 10 min

If I know ahead of time it’s going to be a busy week, I’ll make a big pot and throw it in the fridge.

Sipping either this tea or simply hot water throughout the day will help both with hydration and sluggish digestion.

Pair this new addition with a little moment and you’ll have a happy belly in no time!

Whew this Full Moon is coming in hot this month!

Use this feisty energy to your advantage and dance it out 💃🏼 🪩 🕺🏼

This month is all about expression, expansion and being fully present in ALL parts of our being.

So allow yourself to experience a full range of emotions rather than suppress. Make space for it all…. And then MOVE

Discharge that extra energy, those patterns that are no longer resonating for you, but also honor what feels tender and challenging.

We can often access those quieter places within ourselves once we’ve softened those rough edges with our awareness and compassion.

But until then, crank it up, dance it out.. I just know the rhythm is gonna get ‘cha and you’ll be smiling in no time 🤗😁

Shifting your state of mind with self-massage (abhyanga) sure feels like it!

This morning was rushed, we were running late ⏰ multiple runs made back to the house for forgotten items.

I needed a reset, 🤦‍♀️but I also needed to prep for an upcoming meeting 💻

A little glass of oil and a few drops of essential oils to allow all my senses to be immersed in the moment.

My breathing slowed and I was able to upgrade my attitude in a matter of moments!

We multitask all the time, would I have loved to had time for an elaborate self care ritual - Of course!!!

But I also know the magic that these mindful micro-moments hold.

Try it yourself today. Whether you have oil or not take a moment to slowly massage your hands or feet.

Woke up to our first frosty morning! ❄️

The holiday season is officially here and so is the winter weather!

It’s time to slow down among the frenzy of activities and get intentional about where you spend your energy.

Stay grounded this season by moving your body, spend time in nature, make time for quiet meaningful connection amongst the busy holiday schedules.

This season isn’t alway full of cheer, we must be sure to not only hold space for ourselves, but for one another.

The mat is a beautiful space to move, breathe and process those challenging emotions, to not have to hold it alone.

To see the faces of your friends light up when you walk through the door.

Such a beautiful gift to give yourself before the busy weekend begins!

A purposeful pause before heading home to the family, or tackling that holiday to do list. A sacred time just for YOU.

Tap into what it is you need this season to thrive.

Quiet long enough to hear what the body is telling you, and then lovingly bring in movement to reassure yourself that you’re truly listening.

Then softly plant that seed of awareness, tuck it in with a heavy sprinkle of compassion, and allow yourself to deeply rest.
