To say I was out of my element stepping on the mat was a huge understatement!

BUT, I love learning how to move my body in different ways and have deep trust and respect for Sandra & Chris. They didn’t disappoint… this was an amazing experience.

This past year has been heavy, the transitions hard, and sometimes my mind and body are the last place I want to be.

But these practices insisted focus, discipline, and grit. An hour just melted away (ok maybe not the 15 minute warm ups 😬) but you are totally immersed in the practice.

And not once did I feel like I didn’t belong. I took it at my own pace, honored my injuries , but showed up ready to learn.

I can’t recommend this course enough, especially as a new experience for the family… who knew pool noodles could be so therapeutic 😂

My deepest appreciation and admiration to Sandra and Chris .soulmuaythai for the beautiful,inclusive and empowering community you have cultivated ❤️🙏

The winds pick up, the rains have begun, the pace quickens — yet the deeper invitation is to slow down.

This is a month for grounding, for trusting your inner voice, for letting go of what’s complete so something new can quietly take form.

Discernment and Trust… that requires you quiet the mind long enough to truly tune in and listen. What is TRULY a YES? 🙌

We must schedule it to make it happen, even when it feels like we have to “hurry up and relax”.

We live is a busy, non-stop culture. But it all falls away once you step on the mat.
Just like the Goonies said “down here… down here is our time!” YOUR tine starts s soon as you step in the mat- the adventure begins.

Your mat is your sacred space to allow the world to fall away, to connect with what really matters.

To finally listen to the subtle messages your body has been sending and build a deeper sense of self trust.

Simply showing up is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, the rest unfold as soon as you unroll your mat ✨

Well, after teaching a couple Yoga Nidra classes .studio.spin it is obvious that this is NOT their first rodeo!!

I often think of Yoga Nidra as an adult version of a slumber party - hot tea, all your favorite cozy things, candlelit room, all your favorite friends and home before 9!

These guys did not disappoint! There were loads of super fuzzy blankets, silk pillows, and even a folding camping mat to go under their mat for the ultimate level of comfort knowing you’ll be resting on the ground for an hour!

So grab your YOGA GO BAG with all your favorites, and I’ll meet you on the mat!

It’s connection, presence, an opportunity to build trust.

A chance to self-validate rather than look outside of yourself.

A time to remember, not reinvent. You know why makes you feel alive, creative, connected… you just need the space to move , breathe and allow it all to unfold.

Take time to cultivate the connection, to nurture the conversation and embody a sense of “coming home”.
