We are moving effective 2/28/2022! The East Penn Hearing Center will be relocating to 619 Dalton Street Emmaus, PA. This is approximately two miles from our current locations. If you need hearing aid service between now and then, please call the office in advance so we can arrange time/place. Our phone number has not changed (610-965-1093). We look forward to welcoming you to our new, larger office with ample parking!

Update on office hours. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak and per state recommendations, our office will be operating on a reduced schedule focusing on serving patients with hearing aids in need of service/repair. All routine appointments are being cancelled and will be rescheduled. We will be available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays by appointment only. Please call the office in advance to arrange for any needed hearing aid service/repair/drop-off.

This is something that has been assumed to be the case, but not thoroughly researched. There are a number of studies out there looking at this issue and I am sure we will be hearing more about this in the near future.

Seniors with hearing loss who use hearing aids may experience cognitive decline at a rate more like their peers without hearing trouble, according to a French study that followed thousands of seniors for 25 years.

It has been a very busy summer for the East Penn Hearing Center! We are happy to announce we have merged the practice of Dr. Michael Pengelly with the East Penn Hearing Center and look forward to providing his patients with continued, high quality service. Best wishes for a long and healthy retirement Dr. Pengelly!

As part of the merger, we have recently completed renovations at our office and have added an additional hearing aid fitting room. Rachel Anthony, our hearing aid dispenser, is now at the office full time. Welcome Rachel!

Finally, we now have a satellite office within Advent Speech and Feeding Therapy in Bethlehem. We are proud to be associated with this outstanding facility that provides children with speech, physical, visual, and occupational therapy services. This satellite office will facilitate continued expansion of our pediatric audiology services, including auditory processing assessment.
