Mother Earth
Your Mother is a living being. She held you in her womb until it was your time to arrive, breathe and thrive! While you were in your body you were nurtured and protected. And every molecule in your body somehow came from your mother.

Our Mother Earth there's also a living being. Every molecule in your body somehow came from our mother earth. She provides the nurturing and the sustenance that we require in addition to ample sunlight for us to have a vigorous and productive life.

It could be that some people think that mother earth is an inanimate thing just composed of water and rock and yet we know there is a symbiosis between ourselves and Mother Earth.

This Earth Day (April 22) take a moment to honor this beautiful paradise of a planet and her expansive beauty, whether it be her oceans, or mountains, air and so on. Your gratitude and respect for our beautiful planet means everything.

In integral health we are always concerned with getting to the root cause of any life challenge whether it's physical or something else. The work is always to help the individual to expand their awareness of their own inner tools that help them to achieve health on every level.

When integral health embodies the essence of the mind, body, and spirit it necessarily asks the person to expand in ways that the average person may not fully recognize because of the true spiritual nature of the whole human being.

That type of integral expanding actually collapses the idea that one is separate from what they seek and ultimately empowers that person by dissolving the barriers to health and Wellness.

Power and Gentle
Many years ago, I worked for my father who owned a shipyard here in San Diego and I used to run the crane which was a 19-1/2 ton cable rigging 40-foot boom crane. I remember how this powerful machine could lift such great weights and yet I was able to lift or lower something so gently with mere fractions of an inch at a time.

That type of ability was a recognition of the command I had over the operation of this machine and yet the ability as well to be extremely gentle and the use of that power.

It is much the same in the Wellness community when seeking A qualified practitioner in integral health that they have mastered their particular field and yet within that mastery they have also achieved the ability to be incredibly precise and gentle.

That is why Dr. Michelle Dexter and I started the Bamboo Garden Wellness Center in Encinitas and have created a family of Wellness professionals that embody this amazing balance.

It is a time when we think about coming forth and fertilizing the seeds of our ambitions and looking forward to a kind of an internal growth that is fueled by the sunlight of our joy and our happiness.

Leading By Example
In my many years of spiritual practices one of the things that I've learned and talked to others is how it's best if we don't compare ourselves to each other. That is simply because we really are here to flourish our individuality.

Think of it as though every one of us is a different type of flower. It is natural that we all bloom to the fullest extent of the uniqueness we came to be.

However it's also true that our example, our moral and ethical choices, our embracing the truth of our spiritual nature does in fact have the attribute of helping others to bloom as well.

Continue to bloom in the uniqueness that you came to be and to grow in your spiritual awareness and thus by your good example we've actually led the way for others that they may actually bloom even more as well.

Dr. Jelusich has been channelling Quan Yin for 32 years! Lately, Quan Yin has brought to his attention that it is time to create space for another channelling event. In these fast paced and quickly changing times, these transmissions from the Spirit realm are so beneficial to those incarnate here! This is a most precious event!
The last channelling of Quan Yin, through Dr Jelusich, was in Calgary in September 2025. On that occasion, it followed an all-day, in-person “Channelling Workshop”. This time, the Quan Yin channelling will be following a short in-person workshop on “Advanced Spiritual Practices”.

Quan Yin is also known as the Goddess of Compassion. In Tibet, she is a male energy known as Chenrezii. She is revered in many Asian cultures as having amazing healing capabilities. Good Timing

Did you ever notice how there just seems to be some kind of exquisite higher level timing to all of the things in our universe? How spiritual teachers always talked about being in the flow with all things?

You know as spring nears, plants and animals always seem to know what to do and how to come forth in the right time and in the right place to do and to be that which they came to be. When you plant a seed, you really don't need to tell it what to do because everything that it is, is already within it.

Isn't it the same with you and me? Don't you think what spiritual teachers have been saying is really true that we have this inner timing that knows when to bring forth something and indeed how to allow ourselves to be in that cosmic flow that divine timing that blends us into some great cosmic orchestra of being.

It really is beyond poetry. It is a lived experience if you will allow it.

Accountability and Responsibility.

I've been doing a lot of studying in the field of metaphysics and the whole human spirituality. Not only our culture but other cultures such as the Tibetans and the Mayans of Central America.

The teachings that I found is that the era we're living in now is one of increasing personal accountability and responsibility for ourselves, our integrity, and our actions in this life.

Believe me, I know it's not easy to realize that ancient cultures had predicted that there would be a time when there would be a lot of intensity and chaos in our world. But from chaos can come incredible harmony as each one of us takes responsibility for our actions and we become accountable instead of passing off our strength to someone or something.

I see this era as the potential for great strength, great unity, and an even greater unfolding of what I call a true self-realization. It all starts within ourselves, not from the outside but from the inside.

The Feel for Things

My dad used to own a shipyard in San Diego many years ago and I worked for him for over 10 years. Along with being machine shop foreman when I ran much of the heavy machinery in the shipyard.

I really enjoyed running the crane. It was a cable rigging 40-foot boom nine and a half ton capacity. In order to run it well you actually had to use all four limbs. One hand to move the lever to swing the cab, one hand for the lifting of the cable, one foot on the cable brake and the other foot on the gas

Like anything else, we all get a feel for things as we do it, we can call it muscle memory if you like, but you get a feel that no one else has.

When you really start to understand the benefits of integral health, the true understanding of our spiritual nature you start to get a grasp of things that are unlike intellectual being. Your integral health practitioner does have a feel for these things through their experience. And that is how they can help you to increase your greater sense of feeling.

Valentine’s Day

As many of you know Valentine's Day is going to be celebrated on February 14th and it has become quite popular as an expression of the love that we have for each other.

As a child I was always very curious as to the celebration of this day and of course I remember those little hard heart-shaped candies that had little sayings on them like “Be my Valentine”. I remember the goofy part of my youth when I wanted to give one of these candies to a girl I was sweet on!

When you think about the origin of this celebration was in the Middle Ages, part fertility festival and part Christian, now romanticized, linking love and courtship. And to look at what it has evolved to day with red hearts, Hallmark cards, and special dinners for two!

Now I hope you will celebrate the love you have for one another, and that at the “heart” of all of this is love itself. It's good to have a special day to celebrate that love but let's practice this all the time!
