Seacrest Village Retirement Communities

Seacrest Village Retirement Communities Senior Living in the Jewish Tradition Comprehensive retirement living with various levels of care in a resort-style environment.

Independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing, long-term care and rehabilitation. Seacrest Village Retirement Communities was originally known as the "San Diego Hebrew Homes". We are a Jewish non-profit 501(C)3 retirement community. In 1989 the organization moved from San Diego to Encinitas and changed the name to Seacrest Village Retirement Communities. We maintain a strong

Jewish tradition: we serve Kosher culinary, have an on-staff Rabbi, and a Synagogue. A few other amenities include 2 indoor pools, putting green, fitness center, spa, massage, fire pits, koi pond, movie theater, and transportation to local shopping and entertainment.

A legacy of creativity, compassion, and connection 🎨💙

For more than a decade, Dr. Irene Abraham has been a devoted supporter of Seacrest Foundation—honoring the legacy of her parents, Ruth and Isadore, whose generosity helped establish the Seacrest library.

From leading a beloved monthly art class to sharing her talents as an artist and musician, Irene brings joy, inspiration, and meaningful connection to our residents every day.

We are so grateful for the many ways she enriches the Seacrest community.

“L’dor vador — from generation to generation.” 💙

For over 35 years, the Greenstein family’s connection to Seacrest has been rooted in compassion, service, and love—from volunteering, to caring for their own parents and grandparents, to helping residents stay connected during COVID.

Now, through their legacy gift, they are ensuring that this same extraordinary care continues for generations to come.

We are deeply grateful to Carrie & Jim Greenstein for their enduring commitment to Seacrest Foundation.

Patrons of The 211 Club are “Visionaries of Jewish Eldercare.” These compassionate contributors are community leaders who are the cornerstone of a tremendous fundraising effort.

Their individual contributions of $1,500 or more annually to charitable care help ensure the greatest possible quality of life for the frail and elderly. Members are invited to an elegant dinner in appreciation of their generosity and support of Seacrest Foundation. This year's event will be held on August 23.

Please join or renew your membership before June 30, 2026 in The 211 Club: https://tinyurl.com/211Club

What makes Seacrest Village so special is the people—our residents, their families, our staff, and the wonderful faces who walk through our doors each day. Each person brings unique life experiences and perspectives, and when we come together to share them, we create a truly extraordinary community.
