This patient in her early 30s presented with excess skin and fat on the inner arms. This is a common problem for a lot of women.
VASER ultrasound liposuction was used to thin out her inner arms and remove 600 cc of fat from each one.
A hidden scar arm lift was then performed by making a horizontal incision in each armpit and removing the excess skin.
Her arms are now a lot thinner and tighter and she doesn’t have a highly visible incision running down the length of her arms.

VASER ultrasound liposuction is today’s state-of-the-art liposuction technology.
VASER is an acronym for vibration amplification of sound energy at resonance.
Every tissue type absorbs sound energy at a specific frequency.
By tuning sound energy to the frequency of fat absorption, one can more efficiently break up fat attachments, resulting in a more even, thorough liposuction.

It’s always easier to make an enlarged breast look good if you already have some breast tissue, enough skin and good breast shape to begin with.
The problem arises when there’s little breast skin present as in the preop photo above, where the breast is basically only an ar**la.
In these cases, it’s easy to get a top-heavy, bulging breast that looks too tight, high and unnatural.
In the case above, it was necessary to bring skin in from every direction and to lower the infra-mammary (under the breast) fold to create a natural- looking, hanging breast with good ar**lar positioning.

Here are a patient’s photos from before and three months after facial thread lifting.
Thread lifting works well and lies somewhere between facial fillers, and a mini facelift. It gives better, longer-lasting results than facial fillers but doesn’t substitute for a mini facelift if that’s what you need.
If you have deep nasolabial folds (the lines between the cheek and the upper lip), jowls, and not too much excess skin in your face, you may be a candidate for a thread lift.
This is an office procedure that is done under local anesthesia, takes about 20 minutes, and will take many years off your face.
In most people, the effects last approximately one year. You can always add threads at a later date to refresh the look.

This patient had a “hidden scar” arm lift, an operation that I frequently perform, where the arm tightening scar is placed entirely in the armpit and does not run longitudinally down the arm.
