Children don’t learn best sitting still — they learn through play 🌈
Behavioral therapy works best in play because children naturally explore, communicate, and make sense of the world. When learning is built into activities they already enjoy, children are more motivated, engaged, and open to trying new skills.
In play-based behavioral therapy, therapists follow the child’s interests while working through challenges — like taking turns, handling frustration, or transitioning between activities — in a safe, supportive environment.
Skills learned through play are more meaningful and more likely to carry over into home, school, and community settings 💙
