🔥MEMBER OF THE MONTH: KASSANDRA🔥

This week we’re celebrating Kassandra!

When Kassandra first joined, she was a little more quiet and reserved, just taking everything in, learning the environment, and getting comfortable with the workouts.

She started off slow, used lighter weights, and focused on building confidence.

But she kept showing up.

Week after week, we’ve watched her start to really come out of her shell and find her groove 💪

Now she’s getting the hang of everything, growing more confident, and lifting heavier and heavier weights as she continues to get stronger every week.

That’s what we love seeing most, not perfection, but consistent progress.

Kassandra is proof that if you stay consistent, trust the process, and keep showing up, amazing things happen.

We’re so proud of you and so glad you’re part of the PB family.

Friday night wasn’t about workouts.

It was about community.

Snacks. Drinks. A lot of laughs.

And yes… there were prizes.

Help us congratulate Tom for being PB’s newest Member of the Week!!

What you’ve overcome isn’t small, not even close. There were times where just showing up took more strength than most people will ever understand. The oxygen tank, the medical setbacks, the constant battle of trying to feel “normal” again… that’s real life stuff. And you kept going anyway.

Now I get to watch you walk in, week after week, and put in work like a man who refuses to be defined by what tried to slow him down. You don’t make excuses. You don’t look for an easy way out. You show up, you work hard every single time, and you’ve built real strength because of it.
You’ve earned this recognition. Not just for the weight you’re pushing now, but for the mindset you bring into the room. You’re proof that resilience wins.

Congratulations to Lori McManus, our newest “Member of the Week!!”

Lori has been quietly putting in incredible work, and it’s showing in every part of her training. Her movement quality and form have taken a huge leap forward, and with that has come a noticeable jump in strength across the board.

What stands out just as much is her energy. Sessions that once felt draining now look empowering. She moves with confidence, purpose, and a growing belief in her own ability.

Lori’s progress is a perfect example of what happens when consistency meets intention. Stronger body, better movement, higher energy. We’re proud to have you in the room, Lori.

We just want to take a moment to tell you how much we appreciate you. Your commitment, consistency, and positive attitude have been truly inspiring. Watching you go from limited mobility and strength to confidently performing lunges and pressing overhead has been an incredible reminder of what’s possible when you trust the process and keep showing up.

Our Story

The owner and head coach at Philosophically Built, Blake Hickey is a Personal Trainer in Binghamton NY. He is an ONNIT Academy certified trainer, ONNIT Steel Mace Specialist, ONNIT Kettle Bell Specialist, ONNIT Durability Specialist as well as an E-RYT 200 hour yoga instructor. Philosophically Built is a functional fitness academy focused on building strength, flexibility and range of movement through integrity in movement. You will learn how to hold your body in the proper structure while performing a wide range of moevements. At Philosophically Built we use tools such as kettle bells, steel maces, steel clubs, battle ropes and sand bags. We also do many body weight training exercises which focus on range of motion resulting in increased mobility. The client that can benefit from these workouts range from anyone wanting to get in shape but is unfamiliar with where to begin to the athlete who wants to focus on specific aspects of their fitness to perfect their athleticism in their sport.
