A beautiful day for Tommy...

We do this workout each year in honor of Gunnery Sgt. Thomas J. Sullivan. Tommy was a Springfield, MA native and the recipient of two Purple Hearts. He also served two tours in Iraq.

On Thursday, July 16th 2015 during a terror attack on the Naval Reserve Center in Chattanooga, TN, Sullivan saved the lives of 13 Marines and a sailor by bringing them to safety before returning to face an active shooter, and ultimately giving his life while defending his country.

Whether we’re lifting in the weight room, dancing to the beat, or crushing a circuit session, I focus on creating a positive and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

Katlyn has been part of the RA family for 3 years, and has been a certified trainer coaching clients for 10+ years!

She’s a dedicated personal trainer and coach (and jumps into RA classes whenever she can). Her favorite part of the job? Hands down—the amazing clients and the incredible community they’ve built here.

When she’s not at the gym, you’ll find her on date nights with her husband, hanging out with their dog Maverick, traveling whenever possible, or enjoying sunny weather with a fancy cocktail in hand.

Fun facts:
💪 She can deadlift more than her body weight—but a stubborn pickle jar still wins sometimes. 😉

🐾 Maverick basically runs her schedule… she just pays the bills.

He founded Romeo Athletics in Enfield, CT in 2009, and expanded in 2023 with a second location in Avon, CT. That same year, he co-founded Fuse Medspa and Wellness, further extending his mission to help people become the best version of themselves.

Throughout his career, Andrew has coached thousands of individuals—ranging from beginners to elite athletes—using proven training methods and personalized coaching. His approach goes beyond workouts: he focuses on fitness, nutrition, mindset, and accountability to create lasting, life-changing results.

At Romeo Athletics, we choose to honor Memorial Day and the brave Americans who gave their lives for our country, by participating in the Murph Challenge. “Murph” was created in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.⁠

The workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it "Body Armor.” It is now referred to as "Murph" in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.⁠

"I am super proud of what this group accomplished! We decided in January that we were going to train and prepare to complete the Spartan beast in Killington.

We put over 100 miles in preparation but we had NO idea what we got ourselves into. They say it's 13 miles but we easily did 17.

Hardest things l've ever done! Could not have been a better day though!" - Coach Dan
