The #1 New Year’s resolution hasn’t changed in decades: lose weight.

What has changed is our understanding of what actually works.

Short-term diets may lead to short-term results—but lasting weight loss comes from sustainable habits, not extremes.

I wrote a new blog revisiting this topic and sharing what really helps people succeed long term.

The turn of the year is a natural time to pause and reflect. To look back over the last twelve months and gently ask:
What is still serving me?
And what is ready to be released?

Sometimes it’s something simple and mundane — like hitting the snooze button one too many times. Other times it’s more challenging — letting go of habits, patterns, or dependencies that no longer support our health and growth.

When we release, we create space.
Space for clarity.
Space for healing.
Space for something new to emerge.

Say this affirmation with intention and confidence as you step forward:
🌿 “I release what no longer serves me and embrace the new.”

There’s nothing quite like the Monday after a long holiday weekend—especially one as full-on as Christmas. 🎄✨

If you’re feeling a little off, a bit tight, or just plain tired after all the family, food, fun, and festive chaos... you’re not alone. One of the best ways to bounce back and reset your system is with a gentle chiropractic adjustment.

It’s a quick, effective way to:
✅ Reboot your autonomic nervous system
✅ Loosen up from travel, cooking, or gift-wrapping tension
✅ Help your body transition back into rhythm for the week ahead

We’re in the office Monday and Tuesday this week (Closed Wednesday & Thursday), and back Friday morning.

📞 Call 501-842-1004 to schedule your visit.
Start your week—and your body—on the right track.

🎄 Merry Christmas — however this season shows up for you. 🎄

My wish for you is simple and sincere: that you find peace, joy, and love within yourself during this special time of year. Christmas has always been my favorite season because it invites us to slow down, go within, and reconnect with what truly matters—gratitude, reverence, faith, and love.

This past year brought some personal challenges for me with injury, surgery, and recovery. Today, I’m deeply grateful to feel strong again and even more grateful for the support, patience, and kindness so many of you shared with me along the way.

As we look ahead, I’m filled with gratitude and hope—especially as we approach 20 years of serving this community in England this coming May. My desire remains the same: to truly be of help.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a peaceful, hopeful New Year. ✨

💗 “Love inspires us, heals our wounds, brings us solace, and challenges us to grow, always making us want to be the best version of ourselves.”
— Trish Yancey, LUT, CSE

I truly believe the most powerful healing force available to us is the power of love. Love has the ability to bring about deep transformation in our mind, body, and spirit. It can soften what has been hurt, strengthen what feels weak, and awaken growth where we least expect it.

This Christmas season, may we each take a moment to open our hearts and minds to the healing power of love—for ourselves, for one another, and for the world around us.

Wishing you peace, warmth, and love this Christmas. ✨🎄

No matter what you’ve done—or haven’t done—you are worthy of love.
This time of year can be hard for many people, often in ways we don’t talk about out loud. The holidays can stir up memories, regrets, grief, or just a sense of falling short.

That’s why I want to say this clearly today:
You are worthy of love.
Not because of what you’ve accomplished.
Not because you checked every box.
But because you are here, and your life has value.

When we feel unworthy, we can slip into guilt, shame, judgment—even apathy. But the message of Christmas is one of love born into the world—a love that is unconditional and freely given.

Let that love warm your heart this season. Let it lift your spirit, even if just a little.

You are not alone.
You are worthy.
You are loved.

For many people, this affirmation feels like a stretch at first — even uncomfortable. And that’s exactly why it’s so powerful.

If your mind responds with, “Who are you kidding?” or “That’s not me,” it’s a sign that old patterns of guilt, shame, or unworthiness are still speaking. This affirmation helps gently dissolve those patterns.

The truth is:
You are light.
You are love.
You are abundance.

It’s not something you have to earn — it’s something you already are. The work is simply remembering it.

Say this affirmation over and over until the words soften you… until they strengthen you… until they feel like truth.
Because they are.

💛 “I am a radiant expression of light, love, and abundance.”

PostureMedic works by gently retraining postural muscles and reminding the body what good posture feels like—supporting the spine, reducing strain on the neck and shoulders, and helping you feel more comfortable and energized.

MEET YOUR TEACHER: BRITTNEY BRANNEN

Brittney Brannen’s journey into yoga and movement began more than 10 years ago with a personal transformation. What started as a commitment to improving her own health grew into a calling to help others move better, feel stronger, and live with greater confidence.

During that time, Brittney embraced a diverse exercise routine that included running, martial arts, kettle bells, strength training and yoga. As she became fitter and stronger, she experienced firsthand how intentional movement can improve not only physical health, but also self-esteem, stamina, and outlook on life. Those changes sparked a deeper desire to help others find the same benefits.

Brittney began studying movement and yoga more seriously, taking classes and eventually enrolling in a yoga training program in Northwest Arkansas. She later relocated to central Arkansas, where she continued her education, began teaching group classes, and offered private yoga sessions focused on mobility, strength, and mindful movement.

Her enthusiasm and passion for learning eventually led her abroad. Brittney spent extended time studying in Mexico, India, Nepal, and Malaysia, where she immersed herself in yoga, breathwork, meditation, and sound healing. These experiences deepened her understanding of the mind-body connection and expanded the tools she now brings to her teaching.

Brittney returned to Arkansas in September and is now offering yoga and sound healing experiences at England Chiropractic & Nutrition. Her approach is supportive, accessible, and grounded in the belief that movement should help people feel more capable and confident in their bodies.

On a personal note, I have known Brittney since she moved to Little Rock and began attending my church. From the beginning, it was clear that she has a genuine passion for helping others and a natural ability to encourage and uplift those around her. I give her my full recommendation and am pleased to have her sharing her work here.

Healthy isn't a goal. It's a way of living. 💚

So many people think of health as something you work toward and then get to keep. But in truth, health is a daily lifestyle, not a one-time achievement.

I define health as:

A state of mind, body, and spirit brought about when all the organs, systems, and tissues of the body are functioning at 100%.
(Or as close to 100% as possible!)

To reach and maintain that state, we need to build habits that support it, every single day:
✔️ A clean, nourishing diet
✔️ Movement and flexibility
✔️ Chiropractic care to support the nervous system
✔️ Rest and hydration
✔️ A positive, grateful attitude
✔️ Nutritional support where needed

💥 When these pieces are in place, health is no longer something you chase—it’s something you live.

As 2026 approaches, ask yourself:
What will I do to create a healthier lifestyle this year?
And—how can we help you get there?
