I’ve been using this affirmation for over 35 years. There have been moments when saying it felt almost impossible — times when life was heavy, painful, or uncertain. In those moments, these words became a lifeline.

It’s true — but not just for good habits. The bad ones can stick around, too.

Most of us weren’t taught great health habits as kids. We learned convenience, shortcuts, and imitation. The habits that serve us least in adulthood often started early.

I’ll admit it: I started smoking at 17. My friends did it, so I did too.
I quit... then started again. Quit... then started again. Ci******es turned into ci**rs, and even a pipe at one point (disgusting, by the way 😅).

But I’ve now been completely tobacco-free for over ten years.

That’s the lesson: habits can change.
It’s never too late to drop a bad one or build a better one.

Our bodies are remarkably forgiving when we give them opportunity to heal.
Start where you are — one habit at a time.

So often we wait for life to hand us the perfect circumstances—the dream job, the dream lifestyle—before we allow ourselves to love our life. In the meantime, we live a life we don’t love.

This affirmation from Dr. John DeMartini has been a guiding truth for me: we can choose to love what we are doing right now. To love the breath we take, the sunshine we see, the work we have and the ability to do it.

When we begin to love the life we already have, life responds by giving us more to love. And soon, you really are doing what you love.

Your body might be trying to tell you something — and it’s not just “I’m hungry.” It might be: I’m thirsty!

Water is life. Brain cells are 85% water. And symptoms like fatigue, joint pain, low back ache, and even cravings can be signs of dehydration.

Tips to hydrate more without even trying:
