For the last 5 years, I’ve been a Table Captain for the Women’s Bean Project luncheon — and every single year it reminds me why I care about this work.
Women’s Bean Project isn’t just a nonprofit.
It’s a transitional employment program for women facing significant barriers to work — things like incarceration history, homelessness, chronic poverty, trauma.
They don’t just hand out jobs.
They provide paid job training, life skills, financial literacy, and long-term support so women can build sustainable futures.
This event — Futures in Bloom — is their largest annual fundraiser.
Let me be very clear:
✨ Lunch is provided.
✨ The room is beautiful.
✨ The stories will move you.
✨ And donations are expected.
There is no ticket cost to attend — but this is a fundraising event. If you sit at my table, you are committing to showing up, listening, and making a financial contribution in alignment with your capacity that day.
And I promise you — when you hear the stories, you’ll understand exactly why you’re giving.

If this aligns with you, I would love to have you at my table. A big thank you to those that have sat at my table previously 🙏🏽💗
Message me if you’d like details or have questions — I’m happy to explain how the giving works so there’s no confusion.
Let’s grow something that actually changes lives.
