Do Not Cover Your Toothbrush, Let It Air Dry.

Think your toothbrush is clean? Our mouths contain bacteria, so keeping it covered or stored in a closed container might lead to problems. Let it air dry in a holder that allows it to stand up.

We Are Taking Extra Precaution To Ensure Your Safety

During these trying times we have taken extra precaution and are going above and beyond to provide a clean and safe environment for our patients. We are practicing routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces in our facility. The health of our staff and patients is extremely important to us.

06/10/2020

“We always did a lot with respect to personal protective equipment and keeping the office clean, and now we’re tweaking what we already did to be even safer.”

05/29/2020

We will be reopening our office for routine dental cleanings starting June 6, 2020. However, Dr. Galtieri and Dr. Urquiola will be seeing patients for elective or emergency services effective immediately.

The new protocol for appointments are that you call from your car once you have arrived to check in and MASK must be worn when entering. We are providing hand sanitizer for your use before you go to the back.

Thank you

05/26/2020

As we reopen our office for routine care, we want to inform all our patients as to the efforts we are making to ensure and enhance our infection control procedures.

In addition to all our normal sterilization and disinfecting procedures, including wrapping all high touch surfaces with plastic barrier tape, wiping all surfaces with germicidal solution, and ultrasonic cleaning and autoclaving all instruments that are not disposable we are introducing several measures to reduce the chances of cross-contamination.

Before you arrive for an appointment, we would ask you to download paperwork from our website and have the forms filled out prior to arrival. Upon arriving, please call our office while in the parking lot and remain in your vehicle until we let you know you can come directly into the operatory. We will have hand sanitizer in the front for your use. UNLESS YOU NEED AN AIDE, PLEASE COME ALONE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. We are trying to eliminate people in the waiting room where social distancing will be difficult to achieve. Please keep your mask on until being told to remove it. Once in the operatory, you will notice the staff wearing extra protective gear such as N95 masks and more substantial face shields. We also will have additional equipment to reduce aerosols. Medical grade UV light sterilization will now be accomplished every day in each operatory as well.

When checking out at the front desk, we will be having each person dismissed individually. Again, this is an effort to avoid situations where social distancing would be difficult.

These are trying and extraordinary times we are living through, but with increased vigilance and cooperation from everyone, we will get through this safely with health intact.
