Doing Push ups is an efficient way to work the chest, core and arms while getting the heart rate up. Either standard or modified pushups (knees down) are great and simple options to stay fit while engaging multiple muscle groups.

If pain is shooting from your low back into your butt and down your leg… that’s not “tight hamstrings.” It’s often sciatica, and it usually means a nerve is irritated.

Signs to watch:
⚡ Burning or electric pain down ONE leg
🫨 Tingling or numbness in the leg/foot
🪑 Worse with sitting, bending, or driving
💪 Weakness that makes your leg feel “off”

Sciatica is a symptom, not the root cause. If it keeps coming back, don’t just stretch and pray

Not every herniated disc hurts. But if it DOES, your body will usually send nerve signals you should not ignore.

Watch for these red flags:
⚡ Pain that shoots down your arm or leg
🫨 Numbness or tingling
💪 Muscle weakness (grip changing, leg feeling unstable)

Here’s why it matters: a herniated disc can press on a nerve, and nerve symptoms are different than “I slept weird” muscle soreness.
