Dr. Monica Tadros is a distinguished Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and Educator. She has offices located on Park Avenue in Manhattan and Bergen County, New Jersey. She is one of a small number of surgeons to attain dual board certification in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and has combined the two specialties in her unique practice of aesthetic medicine. After balloon sinuplasty, most patients can return to work and their normal activities within a day. You might notice a little bloody discharge or nasal swelling for the first few days— that’s completely normal and part of the healing process. 😊

Balloon sinuplasty is a minimally invasive option for patients who struggle with chronic sinus pressure, pain, or recurring infections.

During the procedure, I use a small, flexible balloon catheter to gently open the sinus passages, helping restore normal breathing and drainage.

After rhinoplasty, your nose will be swollen and bruised for the first week or so, and a splint helps everything heal in place. Most patients can return to light activities within a week, but it can take a few months for all the swelling to fully settle and reveal the final shape.

Recovery can take time, but the transformation is so worth it. 😊
