“DENVER DAYS” - four times a year we spend a week together at the JRF Ortho headquarters in Centennial, CO - collaborating, training, and innovating. This Denver Days, we spent some time in the lab with a crash course on the distal tibia allograft for humeral head procedure.

Striving for excellence is the name of our game, and we’ll never stop working towards that 💫💡

In 2023, NBA player Lonzo Ball was the recipient of a meniscal and cartilage allograft transplant, made possible through the gift of donation from donor, Alex Reinhardt, a 20 year old from South Dakota.

In a full-circle moment at a recent Bulls-Heat game, Lonzo got to meet his donor family, pictured here. Lonzo now honors the legacy of a young man who made it all possible.

Donor Alex’s mother, Angie Reinhardt, says, “To be able to keep helping people after his death really feels like a blessing to all of us.”
