At Gonzales Therapy Services, we’re committed to providing a safe, clean, and healthy environment for every child and family.

If your child is experiencing fever, vomiting, diarrhea, undiagnosed rashes, or other contagious symptoms, please keep them home until they are fully recovered. We ask that all patients remain home for at least 48 hours after symptoms have completely resolved before returning to therapy.

If a therapist notices symptoms or a rash during a visit, your child may be asked to pause therapy until a physician confirms that it’s not contagious.

Our Halloween Trick-or-Treat event starts today, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🎃

Throughout the next two days, our patients will get to wear costumes, practice trick-or-treating, and have fun in a safe, sensory-friendly environment with their therapists. 🧡

These events are more than just candy, they help children build social confidence, practice communication, and experience the joy of Halloween in their own way. 💙

As the excitement builds, let’s remember that some kids experience Halloween a little differently, and that’s okay! 💙

Here are a few simple ways to support all children, including those of different ability levels:
🧡 Offer non-food treats (like stickers or bubbles) for kids with dietary needs.
💜 Use visuals or pictures to help explain trick-or-treat steps.
💙 Be understanding if a child doesn’t say “trick or treat”. Communication comes in many forms!
